FC Cincinnati will be one of the main contenders for Leagues Cup 2023. The squad led by Pat Noonan has been terrorizing MLS clubs all season long, losing just twice in 23 matches. But the team’s middle of the table finish last season means it will have to match up with one of the toughest LIGA MX clubs in Chivas de Guadalajara who is off to a hot start in league play. Getting out of the group should be easy for a club that has played as well as FC Cincinnati has. Winning it all for the club’s first piece of hardware? That will be a little tougher.
