From July 21 to August 19, we will be able to experience the Leagues Cup 2023, a tournament that comes to revolutionize North American soccer by pitting teams from Major League Soccer and Liga MX against each other.
47 teams will participate in this tournament, which will be played in 28 stadiums located in the United States and Canada.
The clubs have been divided into 15 groups of three participants each, and they were distributed based on their participation in their respective leagues during the 2022 season.
The two best teams from each group will advance to the round of 32.
Club Pachuca and Los Angeles FC have already secured their places in this round, as they were the champions of Liga MX and MLS in 2022, respectively.

From the second to the 16th position in MLS, clubs were distributed one per group in descending order. Meanwhile, from the second to the 16th position in Liga MX, they were placed in those groups in reverse order. The remaining 13 clubs from MLS and the two clubs from Liga MX were drawn to complete the trios in the groups.
