NEW YORK AND MEXICO CITY (August 15, 2023) – With the conclusion of the semifinals tonight, the Leagues Cup 2023 Final and Third Place match are now set for Saturday, August 19. The Leagues Cup 2023 finalists have also clinched a spot in the 2024 Concacaf Champions Cup.
Nashville SC will host Inter Miami CF at GEODIS Park in Nashville, TN at 9:00 p.m. ET on Saturday, August 19 for the inaugural Leagues Cup championship and both teams’ first-ever official international title.
Prior to the Final, Philadelphia Union will host CF Monterrey at Subaru Park in Chester, PA at 6:00 p.m. ET on August 19 for the Third Place game, which will also have Concacaf Champions Cup qualifying on the line.
By qualifying to the Leagues Cup 2023 Final, Inter Miami FC and Nashville SC have secured their first-ever appearance in the Concacaf Champions Cup, and the Leagues Cup 2023 winner will secure a Round of 16 position in the 2024 edition of the Concacaf tournament. The Leagues Cup 2023 Runner-Up, as well as the winner of the Leagues Cup 2023 Third Place match will enter the 2024 Concacaf Champions Cup in Round One.
In tonight’s Leagues Cup semifinals, Inter Miami CF defeated Philadelphia Union 4-1 at Subaru Park with goals from Josef Martinez, Lionel Messi, Jordi Alba and David Ruiz, while Nashville SC came out on top with a 2-0 victory - the goals were scored by Sam Surridge and Fafa Picault – over CF Monterrey.

Leagues Cup, an official Concacaf tournament, featured all 47 first division clubs in Canada, Mexico and the United States in a World Cup-style club competition, where the champion and the second and third-place finishers will qualify for the Concacaf Champions Cup 2024. The historic Leagues Cup 2023, featuring 77 matches, began July 21 and will crown its first-ever champion on Saturday, August 19.
