Under Antonio Mohamed, the Diablos Rojos captured back-to-back league championships in the Clausura 2025 and Apertura 2025 before lifting their third Concacaf Champions Cup title last May. All three trophies were secured at Estadio Nemesio Diez, underscoring the club's formidable home advantage.
The Diablos Rojos have found the back of the net in each of their last five competitive matches. Defensively, however, they have conceded in four of those five outings, suggesting there could be opportunities for Seattle's attack.
Meanwhile, the Sounders remain one of MLS's premier clubs and no stranger to success on the international stage. According to Polymarket, Toluca enters as the heavy favorite, with a 71% chance of victory compared to 11% for Seattle Sounders FC.
