The Apertura 2023 has only just resumed and there is already a double matchday in LIGA MX. Six games will be played this Tuesday and Wednesday, while the other three will take place the following week. Here’s our preview of three games:
Chivas de Guadalajara vs. Club Tijuana
Rebaño Sagrado remain the leaders of the current tournament with 10 points and now host Tijuana at the Omnilife Stadium, who are coming off a victory in Matchday 3. Both the Rojiblancos and Xolos need a victory.
Club Pachuca vs. Cruz Azul
This fixture is a great tradition in LIGA MX. Both teams were left wanting to have done better in Leagues Cup and have not had the best start to the season domestically; neither of them has not won.
Club America vs. Club Necaxa
Las Águilas were very close to winning last day against Juárez. Now they host Necaxa who are celebrating their 100th anniversary, but they have just two draws and two defeats in the 2023 Apertura.
