Minnesota United has struggled to find consistency all season long and as a result sit one point outside of the final wild card spot in the MLS Western Conference. Despite the club’s uneven play, this is a group it could get out of. While the Chicago Fire are in form, Club Puebla is beatable. Fighting for the wild card spots in MLS may be on the backburner, but that fight may not feel so daunting if the team returns to league play with an international trophy.
