Orlando City 4-0 Toronto FC
César Araujo scored and set up Dagur Thorhallsson, and Duncan McGuire scored his seventh goal of the the season to help Orlando extend their four-game unbeaten run. McGuire and Wilder Cartagena also hit the woodwork as the hosts bossed the game to move to within a point of fourth place.
FC Dallas 0-1 D.C. United
Taxi Fountas scored the game’s only goal twenty minutes from time as Wayne Rooney’s side notched a surprise road win.
LA Galaxy 2-1 Los Angeles Football Club
Riqui Puig both scored and assisted for the hosts as the Galaxy recorded an impressive win at home against their bitter rivals. Ilié Sanchez had leveled the match after halftime, but Puig’s goal with twenty minutes to go sealed the result in a much-needed win for Greg Vanney’s side.
New York City FC 1-1 Charlotte FC
McKinze Gaines scored a screamer to put FC Charlotte ahead early on, but New York City FC battled back to level the game through Braian Cufré with ten minutes to go, the point leaving both sides outside the playoff positions.
