The 2023 Clausura has come to an end, and the excitement of playoffs and the Liguilla are set to follow. Chivas and América both finished the tournament with victories to ensure their places -- read on for all the action from Jornada 17:

Juarez 0-1 América
Las Águilas ended the regular season in fine form as Richard Sánchez scored with a great one-touch finish. Ángel Malagón also turned in a strong match to secure the three points at in Juarez, allowing América to finish in second place with 34 points.

Puebla 5-2 Xolos
La Franja managed to reach the playoffs with a good win thanks to a double from Guillermo Martínez. Federico Mancuello, Diego de Buen and Martín Barragán scored the other three goals as the hosts qualified in tenth place, earning them a match against Tigres in the play-in round.

Atlético de San Luis 0-0 Atlas
A goalless tie saw both teams seal their spots in the playoffs. The Rojinegros will face Cruz Azul, while Los Potosinos will take on León.

Monterrey 4-1 Pumas
Rayados ended the visitors' good form under Antonio Mohamed and left them out of the Liguilla. Rogelio Funes Mori scored a hat-trick to finish with 12 goals in the 2023 Clausura, while Ponchito González completed the scoring as Monterrey finished on 40 points.

Chivas 4-1 Mazatlan
Los Rojiblancos made it five matches unbeaten as they closed the 2023 Clausura in fine fashion. Víctor Guzmán, Alexis Vega, Fernando Beltrán and Isaac Brizuela scored the goals for El Rebaño Sagrado as they punched their ticket for the Liguilla by finishing in third place on 34 points.

Cruz Azul 3-2 Santos
La Máquina ended a streak of three games without a win, finding form ahead of the playoffs. Augusto Lotti, Rodrigo Huescas and Uriel Antuna scored the goals for the hosts, who will play against Atlas in the playoffs.

Toluca 3-0 Necaxa
Los Diablos played a great game at Nemesio Diez to finish in the top four and a direct spot in the Liguilla.  Goalkeeper Tiago Volpi scored his third penalty of the tournament and did so with a panenka. For their part, Necaxa finished in second-bottom.

Queretaro 0-1 Pachuca
Los Tuzos needed the win and a combination of results to finish in the top four. But, despite the fact that they won with another goal from Cristian Arango, they finished in fifth place and will face Santos in the playoffs.

Leon 3-0 Tigres
The hosts won with goals from José Alvarado, Brian Rubio and Héctor Yael Uribe to finish sixth, while Tigres finished seventh, both sides qualifying for the playoffs.
